Crossrail and the London Borough of Newham have decided to include Maryland station as part of the Crossrail route following discussions in May this year.

The station is located in Leytonstone High Road, Stratford, Newham.

Subject to safety approval, Crossrail trains will serve Maryland Station using selective door opening.

As a full Crossrail train will be longer than the platforms at Maryland Station, doors will open only on those carriages directly facing the platform.

Crossrail’s route map will now reflect this new stop.
