Information round on revised proposals ends

Crossrail held an information round from 11 September to 19 October 2006 to explain various changes to the proposed Crossrail scheme and keep people up to date with project developments.

The proposed Crossrail Bill is currently being considered by a Select Committee in the House of Commons and a number of changes to the scheme are proposed to address petitioners’ concerns, or otherwise improve the project design. These are called ‘Additional Provisions’.

Public information centres were held along the proposed route between 11 September 2006 and 19 October 2006. Details are given below of times and venues. Opening times for all venues were Monday–Friday 12pm–8pm, Saturdays 10am–5pm (except Romford 10am – 3.30pm).

Crossrail staff were on hand to explain the display, offer the latest publications from Crossrail and answer questions.

Materials used at the centres, including the information panels, are available for view on our 'Information Round' page.
