Consultation on Safeguarding the Maidenhead-Reading route 2008
This consultation sets out the Government's proposals to issue Safeguarding Directions to protect a potential extension of Crossrail from Maidenhead Station to Reading West Junction. The aim of this measure is to ensure that developments along this rail corridor do not impact on the ability to extend Crossrail in the future.
The plans (right) are draft only for the purposes of the consultation.
